She breathed in a deep breath of air, savoring victory. Even though it was an uncontested one, this was a victory all in itself. She had moved to this island with her only son with hopes to rebuild the empire she once commanded over. With time and patience, she knew that this would be achieved once more. Her heart was beating again like it had in her truly younger days with a flame that would scorch the farthest onlooker. Her hatred burned hot for the Cimoron natives. They scorned her, drove her away, ruined everything she worked for. Her entire life's work - gone. Her momentary lapse of pure and burning hatred subsided almost as soon as it had appeared. She had to remember, the healer's gave her one more shot at this, reviving her to her youngest days. The Cimoron breed weren't entirely bad, but the ones who chased her off like a Salem Witch had some bad karma headed their way. She would just have to savor this like the juciest fruit. Ruffian contemplated in traveling to the other Alliance Royals, to introduce herself and to get an idea of how this island worked. She supposed she probably should have done this before claiming an alliance, but the opportunity was burning with the brightest light - she had to take it! In the meantime, she surveyed her surroundings. It was much like her beloved Valley, but new and much more promising. Delacor would be good for her, silently agreeing with herself.
